BEHIND THE ART OF CHEYENNE K. MCMULLEN

Cheyenne has been playing horn for ten years, and has been a part of several ensembles over the years. While attending her undergraduate degree at UTM, she was the assistant horn in the university's Wind Ensemble. She enjoys performing for others and with others in university ensembles and outside venues, both nationally and internationally. Some of her favorite venues are church services, community bands, and small ensembles, including some that have traveled as far as Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

When not playing horn, she works frequently as a graphic designer and digital illustrations artist, fulfilling commissions from all over the area. Her art has been exhibited in the UTM's Visual Art Department Gallery over several semesters, media ranging from illustration, to ceramics, to fibers. Her works are inspired by artists like Gerard Way and Kesha Sebert, as well as various comic book illustrators; her favorite media is markers and ink.
